Types of Donations

General Donations & Sponsors

Our supporters play a vital role in helping us balance program affordability with funding the day-to-day operations for Colorado HorsePower. Your contributions go directly to helping support our operations. Funds are used for replacing needed supplies such as new reigns, halters and lead ropes and for items that keep our horses healthy: salt blocks, vet checks, worming and farrier costs. All contributions are tax deductible and are acknowledged by a letter to you from Colorado HorsePower. Gala Donations & Sponsors

Corporate Donations & Sponsors

Colorado HorsePower relies on the support of public and private organizations and individuals to tuition fees, day-to-day operations, and other operating costs for HorsePower. Actual operating expenses for HorsePower are approximately $100,000 per year. Since we try to keep tuition costs low for our students and families, we look to corporate donors and sponsors to supplement the cost of maintaining our operations. We seek donors and sponsors during for our annual major fund-raising event “Demin and Diamonds Annual Gala” held in September and throughout the year. Many corporations and individuals see this as an opportunity to “give back to the community” and make a difference in the lives of the students that we serve. We recognize our corporate donors and sponsors through Facebook and website and welcome each to visit Colorado HorsePower’s facilities to personally observe your gifts in action. Horse Sponsors

Colorado HorsePower wouldn’t be possible without our wonderful therapy horses and the unique benefits they provide for our students. Horse Sponsors provide support with monthly board & feed costs. Sponsoring a horse is a wonderful way to contribute to our mission. With horse sponsorship we will list you in our website, send you a photo of the horse you sponsor and place your name outside of your horse’s stall. The boarding and feeding cost for each month is $300.00 per horse. Please consider a Horse Sponsorship for a month or any number of months.
